Product Description

The quick and simple way to use your phone via the on-board hands-free system: the Bluetooth® adapter from Mercedes-Benz allows you to use your phone while in your car – without having to get your phone out of your pocket. The module is simply connected to the system plug of the pre-installation for mobile phone in the centre console – no tools or workshop visits required. Up to four different mobiles can be paired with the Bluetooth® module. These are then instantly recognised and their full functionality can be used via the multifunction steering wheel, the audio system or the central display: read text messages, view call lists, look up phone numbers, make calls – without having to get your phone out of your jacket pocket. As soon as the mobile phone is connected to the Bluetooth® module, it is automatically switched to "standby mode", so only consumes minimal power. Two versions of the Mercedes-Benz Bluetooth® telephone module are available: a closed box and a cord-connected handset with base. Both modules feature a SIM card reader. The handset version also allows you to make private phone calls without your passengers being able to hear the voice on the other end of the line.
