The unmistakable hallmark of the vehicle was the gullwing door design, and the four-stroke engine with petrol injection was a world’s first for a series-produced passenger car. With a top speed of up to 250 km/h, this was the fastest series-produced vehicle of its time and the dream sports car of the 1950s.
