The Mercedes-Benz rear-mounted bicycle rack for the trailer coupling features a patent-registered quick-release fastening mechanism which makes it simple to use: push rack forward into place, throw the lever and there you have it. Fitted from the rear therefore no damage to bumper. The rack has a universal design and can be fitted without the aid of tools to any trailer coupling from a drawbar ratio of 6.7 kN. Practical: to ensure access to the boot/load compartment, a special mechanism means that the attached cycles can be folded down out of the way (max. 45 degrees) by one person, allowing sufficient room for loading. The extremely lightweight aluminium rack (approx. 15 kg) is designed to hold two cycles, or a max. of three with the extension kit. Suitable for all circular frame tubes up to diameter of 80 mm or oval frame tubes up to 80 x 45 mm. Also for oversize frames. All-round security: the rack is theft-protected as standard. The cycles are locked onto the rack by locking spacers with a single key system, preventing theft. The trapezoidal rails provide a secure base for all cycle tyres - from narrow racing bike tyres to wide downhill tyres. Expanding straps in the rails provide an extremely secure hold for the cycles, including the sides. Ready to go instantly: no TÃœV registration required.
After your bike ride: the support bar folds down to save space when stowing the rack in a garage or cellar. And because the Mercedes-Benz rear-mounted bicycle rack is so practical and so easy to fit, it won't be long before it's back in use. Go for a relaxed bike ride. With your Mercedes-Benz.
